A Winter Knitwear Wishlist

One of my favourite things about the weather getting colder is getting those knits out and wrapping up warm!

Here are some that are on my wish list this winter…

I’ve just started learning to knit, and have made myself a gorgeously cosy pair of hand warmers that I didn’t even realise I needed until I started wearing them! I’ve also made some scarves for my mum and my two nieces who live with her. Mum taught me to knit, so it’s fitting she got one of my first makes as a thank you! Now, I just have to step it up a notch as I have a few christmas presents to make, as well as a chunky jumper for each of the girls – I’ll be posting photos on our blog as soon as they’re done!

I love seeing this sort of wishlist as it provides inspiration for my knitting. I did have a “how much!” moment over that beanie hat. I just knitted myself one, minus the pom-pom, for £5 and a couple of evenings work. Lots of family and friends might be getting one for Christmas now that they are fashionable again.

I love winter for the fact that I can layer up in such comfy clothes. All of those on your wish list are what I would invest in for the up coming freezing weather.
