Autumn Adventures

A while back we were sent some Barny snacks to try. These are little cake bars filled with chocolate or milk sauce and come individually wrapped. The girls loved them – they taste really nice and I like the fact that they are individually wrapped with a cardboard insert so they are great for popping in your bag and they aren’t mush by snack time!

Part of the challenge was to try a Barny snack and embark upon a little adventure. So we did!

Every year we have a tradition that we go ‘conker hunting’ in our local park and kick the leaves. Such a simple activity but it is so much fun!! Delving into the little line of trees at the back of the park really feels like you are in the woods (especially to the girls) and it is like a little adventure hunting out fallen conkers and digging through the leaves to see who can find the biggest one, the smallest one and the shiniest one! Extra points for finding misshapen ones and ones still in their shells of course!

The best activities are free as they say – and this little adventure certainly was!
