Back To School Crafts
The kids are heading back to school in just over a week and they are quite looking forward to it I think! We’ve had a lovely time over the summer and I’m not quite ready for them to go back yet but they’ve missed their friends so they are ready to get back to school.
We thought we would get back into the school mindset with some back to school crafts. We were sent a box of craft goodies as part of our role as Bostik Bloggers and we set to work!
First up we made this really cute tote bag for Little Boy to take to nursery. It was really easy to do, we traced a picture of a boy onto the back of some fabric and cut it out. We then just glued it onto a tote bag. No sewing required! Little Boy loves it too!
We then decided to make a pen pot to keep their new pens in. Our craft kit came with a cardboard tube but you could just use a toilet roll and mask up the bottom. We just covered this in cardboard using Bostik white glue and decorated it with stickers and buttons. It was really fun to do and even Little Boy could help. It made the perfect pen holder and would look good on your child’s desk!
Last but not least Bean made a really cool clipboard out of tiny craft pegs. She glued two pieces of card together so that they were really sturdy and used foam craft squares to stick the pegs on. She’s going to use it to pin up letters from school in her room.
We love crafting and these crafts really helped us to get into the back to school mood. Now we just need to enjoy the last of the holidays before they go back!
