Banana and Strawberry Protein Smoothie
This recipe for a banana and strawberry protein smoothie is one of my current favourites. I’m really into looking after myself and eating healthily at the moment. I have started running regularly and doing yoga too. I always find that when I exercise more I tend to crave healthier foods which can’t be a bad thing. Life has been really busy at the moment so I have been getting out the nutribullet more and more to blend up something quick and healthy that I can drink at my desk or on the go.
This is one of my favourites for summer, not only because it tastes fresh and delicious but if I make a slightly bigger batch I can make ice lollies for the children out of it meaning it is a great multi-tasker and they love eating them when they come home from school.
- Handful of fresh or frozen strawberries
- Handful of fresh or frozen bananas
- 1 scoop of vanilla protein powder
- Coconut milk (or milk of your choice)
- Put all the ingredients in the nutribullet and fill up with coconut milk. Blitz for a minute and enjoy!
Use as much or as little coconut milk as you like to get the desired consistency. I make it a little thicker to make ice pops and then thin it down to drink it.
