Crafty Tuesday: Homemade Door Plaques

Today I’d like to share with you a great way to make personalised name plaques yourself at home. These make great personalised gifts for new babies or birthdays and the beauty is that they can say whatever you like.

I use wooden plaque blanks that you can buy on Ebay, pre cut and pre-drilled but if you are nifty at DIY you could make these yourself.

Paint these with a good quality paint, leave to dry and then you can decorate them as you wish. You can embellish them or paint a picture, but my favourite design at the moment is to glue a fabric heart on and adorn with silver glitter glue. I then write the name / message in black Sharpie, but again you could do this in any colour! Finish off with a cute ribbon.

Et voila!

As usual, if you are not feeling crafty enough, find some for sale in my shop!
