Easy Herby Couscous Recipe

I’m trying to eat a little healthier and that means replacing carbs like potatoes / rice / chips / pasta / bread with a healthier alternative. This ┬áherby couscous recipe is really easy to make, tastes delicious and is healthier than any of the above things!!

Serving Size: Serves 6

Herby Couscous Recipe


  • 300g dry couscous
  • 2 Tsp bouillon powder
  • 2 handfulls of chopped flat leaf parsley


  1. Take 300g of dry couscous and add boiling water until the water just covers the couscous. Stir in 2 tsp of bouillon powder and cover with cling film until the water is absorbed (about 5 minutes).
  2. When the couscous is ready, fluff up with a fork and mix two handfuls of chopped flat leaf parsley into it.

This is seriously yummy and great for the whole family. It’s perfect for summer BBQs or as a side to many meals. Adding the bouillon powder and herbs really brightens the flavour and make it much more interesting than bland plain couscous.
