Getting Crafty with Brecon Carreg

Regular readers of this blog will know that I love doing crafts with the kids so I was delighted to be invited to a family craft event by Brecon Carreg last weekend.

A small bunch of lovely welsh bloggers assembled with our families in the fabulous Waterloo Tea in Wyndham Arcade in Cardiff for a delicious lunch and a craft session led by Science Burp.

The food was fabulous as was the faultless hospitality from Brecon Carreg and Waterloo Tea. Everything we wanted to eat and drink on tap – and all of it delicious! The hubby was in his element!

The girls then loved the craft session and made their own little monsters from recycled Brecon Carreg bottles. I’ll post a little tutorial in the next week for those of you who want to recycle some bottles of your own!

We finished off the afternoon with a little quiz about water which Bean loved taking part in, and even took the quiz to school the next day to quiz her friends! We also got to take home some kids sized bottles of Brecon Carreg – the perfect size for taking out with you or popping in lunchboxes.

It was so lovely to meet some great local bloggers in the flesh too. Thank you to everyone involved for a fabulous afternoon!

  1. Sounds like an amazing time. I really keep saying it but I need to get crafty with my two more. Especially now that MM is older she would love it. Love the photos. Thank you ever so much for linking up to Share With Me. #sharewithme
