I’m enjoying sharing these little peeks into my life with you, here’s what I’ve been loving this week…
I’m still battling on with the same book – The Winter Ghosts by Kate Mosse. I’ve actually been picking up magazines more this week – the free supermarket ones actually – I really enjoy the recipes in there! This week I’ve been loving the Tesco and Waitrose ones! At the beginning of the week I also found this great little motivational quote which I shared on my Instagram feed.
I’ve needed a bit of motivation this week, I’ve had lots of ideas but none of the get up and go to put them into action! I do really want to go for it though, I just need more time!
I’m getting really near to the end of Gilmore Girls and I can’t wait to watch the new season! I’ve also been really enjoying watching vlogs – I’m loving Jules Furness‘ channel at the moment and I loved The Michelak’s new house tour. I also watched Annie for the first time ever at the weekend and really enjoyed it!
I’ve been trying to get into podcasts after reading about them on several blogs. At the weekend I listened to some of the podcasts by Sara Tasker from her series Hashtag Authentic. They are podcasts for instagrammers, bloggers and online creatives and the ones I listened to were really interesting, I’ll be listening to more.
This week I’m feeling particularly proud of a new Facebook group I set up to help fellow parenting bloggers share their content. If you’re a parenting blogger you can find it here. I’m still batting on with my crochet blanket – I was crocheting at the weekend while listening to podcasts actually!
I treated myself to a day of shopping this week and was on the hunt for a Joules top I had seen but that was sold out online. In store they only had size 8 and 16 and I gambled on the size 8 and it fits! Seems like the diet is paying off!
Otherwise this week I’ve mainly been wearing my wellies it’s been raining that much!!
Little Miss J however was very happy with her new clothes – I got out some of the clothes we put away from when her sister was 6 and she’s loving wearing the hand-me-downs. Long may that attitude last!
I’ve been feeling a little down in the dumps this week really but I cheered myself up today with a big shopping spree all for me and redeeming my mother’s day voucher for a facial at a local beauty salon. I really enjoyed the relaxation and time to myself so much that I’ve booked in for another treat next month – my first Indian Head massage.
I hope that you’ve all had a good week and have a lovely weekend 🙂
