Knowing when to quit

The winter months are officially behind us and spring is well and truly on its way. With the warmer days smiling upon us, there’s never been a better time to overhaul your life and get healthy. Spring is the time for new beginnings, making it the ideal time of year to try a new way of cleaning up your lifestyle. I don’t smoke and never have but I know people who do and I’d definitely recommend quitting.

I’ve seen a lot lately not only locally but that celebrities have started ‘vaping’ or using e-cigarettes. Here are just some of them:

Leonardo DiCaprio – Party-loving Leo was rarely pictured without a cigarette in his hand but has switched to vaping in a bid to improve his healthy lifestyle.

Simon Cowell – If he can make the switch to vaping, so can you. Heavy smoker Simon has kicked the habit with the help of electronic cigarettes.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus – American comedienne, Julia, is such a fan of vaping that she was pictured with her trusty electronic cigarette at the Golden Globes. No more dashing outside and missing the action for her!

Bruno Mars – Bruno made the healthy switch to electronic cigarettes after his mother died from a brain aneurysm. He’d promised her he’d give up his smoking habit and proved it when he posted a picture on Instagram with his electronic cigarette captioned: “This is for you mom.”

Jenny McCarthy – Blonde-haired babe, Jenny, is such an advocate of vaping, she’s even starred in an advertising campaign for electronic cigarettes in America.

Katy Perry – Kooky Katy Perry likes to switch her e-liquid flavours as often as her hairstyle. She’s been pictured with her trusty refillable e-cigarette multiple times since kicking the habit.

Barry Manilow – Barry made the decision to give vaping a go after suffering from multiple smoking-related health troubles. Electronic cigarettes worked for him and he remains a non-smoker.

Make like the A-listers today and switch to vaping this spring. It won’t be long before you’re noticing the benefits.
