A Little Miss Birthday Party

Is your little one into Mr Men and Little Miss books? Mine love them and we pick up a new one whenever we see one.

Today, as we are celebrating that it would have been Roger Hargreaves birthday on the 9th May I have teamed up with Egmont to share with you theirΒ new Mr Men Birthday Party book which was released this week.

What could be a better tribute than holding our very own Mr Men birthday party! We adorned the house with decorations and banners and ate a delicious Little Miss cake (available from Tesco).

No birthday party is complete without a little fancy dress and we rustled up a Little Miss Princess costume from some spare cardboard, some paint, wool and a bit of ribbon.

Add some wool / tissue paper / pipe cleaners for the hair, or felt for the hat etc and hang around your child’s neck with ribbon. Voila a very easy costume made from things you will no doubt have lying around the house.

We were also sent a personalised copy of Mr Men A Very Silly Birthday book which is lovely as it is can be personalised with the name of your choice. It would make a perfect birthday gift! I have a code to share with you, which would get you 20% off the price of this personalised book. Simply use code pblogger20 at the checkout.
