Does your baby take a dummy? Baby Sprout has a dummy for helping him to go to sleep and sometimes to keep him happy if he is really grumpy. Although he doesn't suck a dummy all the time we never leave the house without one, as he needs one if he is going to take a nap.
The problem with dummies when babies get a little older is making sure that they are kept sterile. Baby Sprout is at the age where he now throws his dummy out of the pushchair if he can. The girls also can try to be helpful and give him the dummy, picking it up by the wrong end. I'm sure their hands are not the cleanest so that always results in a dummy being made unusable!
Before we discovered the Milton Mini Portable Soother Steriliser we took several dummies out with us in case this happened. Now we only need the little steriliser and one dummy as we can pop the dummy back in there to sterilise throughout the day. It is also handy for carrying the dummy around as it velcros onto your changing bag or pushchair so it is always to hand when we need it.
It is a doddle to use - simply rinse the two sponges and fill the container with water up to the specified line. Dissolve a mini sterilising tablet and pop the sponges back in - making sure they soak up the solution and pouring out any excess. It's ready to go then for 24 hours. It's become part of my daily routine now - I do this when I am putting together his food and drinks for a trip out.
I'd definitely recommend the Milton Mini Portable Soother Steriliser - it's one of those gadgets that once you have it you don't know how you would do without it.
Disclosure - I was given the Milton Mini Portable Soother Steriliser for the purpose of this review. All opinions are honest and my own.

I have it too and find it great. But I only tried it out once so far. I normally just wash it with water. #wickedwednesday
