Movember 2015 with Crabtree & Evelyn

Every year the hubby takes part in Movember – a charity campaign to raise awareness of mens health issues, including prostate and testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

Essentially it involves him spending November growing a ridiculous moustache and being sponsored for it. I must confess to hating the moustache but I understand and fully support his reasons for taking part. Not only is he raising money, but he is also raising awareness. Men are notoriously bad at getting themselves checked over and if awareness is raised of these important conditions, they will seem more ‘normal’ and more acceptable to men to visit the doctor for.

We are 12 days into Movember and the husband currently looks like this…

One more good thing about this Movember is that the lovely people at Crabtree & Evelyn have sent him some of their gorgeous Moroccan Myrrh body wash.

This smells divine and helps me to see past the ‘tash growing on his face!! What’s more for every one of these bought between the 1st and 26th November, Crabtree and Evelyn will donate £1 to the Movember cause. So get out, grab one of these and save it for Christmas – it will make a perfect Christmas gift!

Disclosure – we were sent a bottle of body wash for the purposes of this post. All opinions are honest and my own.

My husband loves a body wash with a rich scent and this sounds perfect for him, I would have to steal it though as it contains bergamot which is my favourite!

I love Movember. Such a great cause. Sadly my hubby doesn’t like facial hair which is sad as I think he looks great with a beard and moustache.

My husband did Movember the other year, and although I know it’s for a good cause, the moustaches are just nasty! I was glad when it was over and he could shave the damn thing off, lol! 🙂

Agree with you entirely on this! Such a great cause, but not always such a good look while it’s growing or even once it’s there. I guess making it smell nicer should be embraced 🙂

Hubby always has a goatee and moustache. I don’t mind when they are fully grown in but once or twice a year he’ll decide to shave it all off, then remembers he hates it, then we have to live through the itchy, stubbly, growing in phase again!
