We are well in the midst of weaning here in the Cookies and Cwtches household. Baby Sprout is doing well on purees and has just started to nibble on baby biscuits and venture into more textured foods. Over the next few months I’d like to introduce him to as many different foods as possible.
Luckily I was sent this fab little book to review. The name gives it all away really – it has lots of great recipes suitable from 9 months plus up to three years and beyond.
The recipes are great, as are the little titbits of information dotted here and there. From how many calories they need at different stages to what nutrients different fruits and vegetables contain this book is a great source of inspiration and information.
As simple to prepare as they are nutritious, these yummy baby and toddler meals include:
- Chilled White Grape Peach Soup
- Crunchy Green Beans
- Creamy Spinach Pita Pizza
- Orange Chicken Stir-Fry
- Cinnamon Pineapple Crumble
- Kale Chips
- Baby Cobb Salad
- Cheeseburger Soup
- Homemade Toaster Pastries
- Cauliflower Dressed in Orange
The only thing it is lacking is photos – there are a few dotted here and there, but generally I love a recipe book to contain lots and lots of pictures of yummy food to really motivate me to cook! Nevertheless, you will never be short of a recipe if you own this book!
Disclosure – I was gifted this book for the purpose of the review. Opinions are my own.
