Valley Mill Soaps and Wax Melts Review & Competition

I recently came across a great local business called Valley Mill. Nestled in Neath which is near to where my husband they make wonderful handmade soaps and wax melts (amongst many other things).

I love supporting local businesses and was delighted with the products that they sent me to review. They arrived in fabulous brown cardboard packaging – very well protected so that they arrived in perfect condition and I loved how the look fit so well with the ethos of the brand.

I was sent two soaps – Lavender and Citronella and Grapefruit and Fennel. Both are handmade with natural shea butter and coconut oil and felt great on my skin. I preferred the Lavender and Citronella Soap as Fennel is not one of my favourite scents but my mum was pleased with it!

I was also sent two packs of wax melts. I adore wax melts and have a burner upstairs and downstairs as I love my home to smell nice. The chocolate truffle is really decadent and perfect for winter, it smells rich and indulgent and I’m looking forward to putting it on when I’m cosying up by the fire this christmas!

The Passion Fruit is equally divine in a different way. Fresh and fruity, it is perfect for the warmer months or for upstairs in a bathroom or bedroom. They both have great scents which really permeate the house and last on and on. I’d definitely recommend them and will be buying more when these are done!

Do take a look at their website, as they sell so many great Welsh things which would make gorgeous gifts this Christmas.

Or you could enter below to win yourself a little gift set like I received – 3 soaps and 2 wax melts. UK entries only please and the usual standard terms and conditions apply.
