Weekly Meal Plan – 27th March 2017

I really enjoyed sharing my weekly meal plan with you last week and from the looks of it you enjoyed it too. So I thought I’d share this week’s with you too. For those of you who asked what I do about being spontaneous the answer is simple, I swap a meal for another night’s meal or make something I have in the cupboards. Last week for example my Mother in Law came for dinner unexpectedly. I knew that she wouldn’t eat what we had planned for that evening’s meal so I made something else and re-added the missed meal to the menu for this week. My favourite meal from last week was the potato skins so I’m doing that again this week, with added corn on the cob.

Saturday

Lunch – Beans on toast
Dinner – Potato and chickpea curry (from last week’s meal plan)

Sunday

Lunch –  out
Dinner – stir fry

 

Monday

Everyone – pasta bake

 

Tuesday

Everyone – Quorn Shepherds pie

 

Wednesday

Kids – Poached eggs on toast

Us – Quorn / chicken fillets with couscous & salad

 

Thursday

Kids – Cheesy pasta

Us – Potato skins & corn on the cob

 

Friday

Takeout

 

Puddings

Homemade Strawberry ice cream

Almond & cacao balls

 

Lunches

Chicken Salad for the hubby and avocado on toast / scrambled egg / beans on toast for me.

    We’ve not had loaded potato skins for ages, and I love those. I think I’ll have to add them to our next meal plan 🙂 #mealplanningmonday

    Would love to make my own ice-cream again – just a bit short on freezer space right now!
