This month we were challenged by Barny to a little winter adventure – and boy it was just what we needed! The weather has been so rubbish that as soon as we got a sunny day we were off, even if it was cold!
We had a great adventure walking through Cosmeston Park and Lake – hunting for the Gruffalo and fox, owl and snake in the woods, feeding the very hungry ducks and splashing and squelching LOTS in muddy puddles!
Luckily we warmed up afterwards with a coffee (for mummy!) and a yummy Barny snack for the girls.
We were sent the Barny snacks to review in the strawberry and apple flavours – the girls already loved the milk and chocolate ones. Typically Bean prefers the chocolate ones and Jelly Baby loves the strawberry. They are great little cakes, filled with just the right amount of filling and are a great snack. I particularly like them because of the packaging – the cardboard insert means that the cake is much less likely to get smashed up in my bag before I give it to them!
This post is an entry for BritMums ‘Winter Little Adventures Challenge’ sponsored by Barny, individually wrapped bear-shaped sponges with a hidden filling. Find out more about Barny here.
