YouTube Sunday #26

Happy Sunday! How is everyone feeling now that the weather is finally getting warmer?! I’ve been wearing lightweight jackets and feeling much happier with a bit of sun on my skin!

We survived the crazy sleepover last week – the girls went to bed about 2am though! They were up bright and early in the morning too of course! This week we’re having our bedroom decorated so once again the house is chaos. I absolutely can’t wait for it to be finished though. It’s the last room in the house to be done and after a year of living here I can’t wait to have my own little bedroom haven instead of the cluttered mess it currently is!

If you are new to this linky, it goes live every Sunday morning and you can link up any video you like, old or new. You can link directly to the video or the blog post, it’s up to you. If you have embedded your video into a blog post feel free to add the badge to raise awareness of the linky. Please do continue to like and comment on other people’s videos and share them on social media too.

I promise to watch and share on social media every one of your videos. It would be great if you could watch and comment and thumbs up a few others in the link up – that’s how we share the love! Remember that commenting on other videos is not only a nice thing to do for a fellow vlogger, but it’s also a great way of advertising your channel, as other commenters will see your name. And no one likes a link dumper 😉

I’m continuing to share a TOP TIP for YouTube every week. If you have any tips to keep us going, leave me a comment below so I can share them. I have a little collection of great tips from you guys already so keep them coming!

This week’s top tip comes from Maria who blogs at Maria Luves and has a YouTube channel in the same name. I love her channel, especially her weekly vlogs and in car chats! She says…

My tip is to leave a like. If one can’t do it on content or topic, then do it for effort. It makes a difference to the exposure of the video and is an encouragement to those who’ve put time and effort into making it.

This is so true, I often watch videos on my phone and for some reason it doesn’t occur to me to like them when I’m watching on there. I’ll make a conscious effort to now though.

It was a quiet link up this week, I wonder what everyone was doing?! I really enjoyed this video from Laura SideStreet sharing a budget friendly weekend and showing us the New KA+. This is one of the reasons I love YouTube – you can see how this car works for a real family in this video which is so much more than you get from just looking at it in a brochure.

Here is this week’s link up. Link up a video and take a look at some others. I hope you’re all enjoying taking part. I’m so close to 1000 subscribers on my channel, I’m loving creating content at the moment and I love watching all your videos too.

My top tip is try and watch as many other peoples videos as possible and if you can leave a nice comment. Not only are you making the creators feel good and opening up discussion, you are also able to gain ideas for your channel. 🙂
