YouTube Sunday #27

Phew, after last week’s quiet link up you guys really made up for it this week! I’ve loved watching all your fabulous videos thank you! This week has been a bit of a non-starter for us – Little Boy was taken quite ill and we ended up in hospital for a couple of days. He’s not quite there yet but I think he’s on the mend. It just feels like a week has been wiped out of our lives though – everything stops when a little one is ill doesn’t it.

If you are new to this linky, it goes live every Sunday morning and you can link up any video you like, old or new. You can link directly to the video or the blog post, it’s up to you. If you have embedded your video into a blog post feel free to add the badge to raise awareness of the linky. Please do continue to like and comment on other people’s videos and share them on social media too.

I promise to watch and share on social media every one of your videos. It would be great if you could watch and comment and thumbs up a few others in the link up – that’s how we share the love! Remember that commenting on other videos is not only a nice thing to do for a fellow vlogger, but it’s also a great way of advertising your channel, as other commenters will see your name. And no one likes a link dumper 😉

I’m continuing to share a TOP TIP for YouTube every week. If you have any tips to keep us going, leave me a comment below so I can share them. I have a little collection of great tips from you guys already so keep them coming!

Today’s tip is from me if you don’t mind! My tip is to leave your social media links available on your channel. You can add them to your channel page but also pop them in your description. If someone likes your video they might like to follow your blog or follow you on Twitter.

My favourite video this week was a brilliant chatty video from Charlotte The Magpie Mama. She talks about loneliness as a new mum which is definitely something I experienced, and to be honest, something I still feel sometimes now. It really helps to talk about things like this so that we don’t feel alone – other people feel the same.

Here is this week’s link up. Link up a video and take a look at some others. I hope you’re all enjoying taking part. I’m so close to 1000 subscribers on my channel, I’m loving creating content at the moment and I love watching all your videos too.

Oh Ali, that’s not good, I hope he feels better soon poor little tyke. I didn’t make it last week I am afraid due to being tucked up in bed poorly myself.

I think loneliness is a life long thing. In some ways as the children get older it is harder to make those kinds of connections as they are often a great social glue, I have loved my WI ladies for that reason.

Anyway, I hope your week is better and little boy heals well. xx
