YouTube Sunday #30

Hello Sunday! I hope that you’ve all been having amazing weather! My girls finished school for Easter on Friday and we’re really hoping that the weather continues over the holidays! It was so warm when I picked them up on Friday it felt like the summer holidays were starting! I’m looking forward to 2 weeks out of the routine now!

If you are new to this linky, it goes live every Sunday morning and you can link up any video you like, old or new. You can link directly to the video or the blog post, it’s up to you. If you have embedded your video into a blog post feel free to add the badge to raise awareness of the linky. Please do continue to like and comment on other people’s videos and share them on social media too.

I promise to watch and share on social media every one of your videos. It would be great if you could watch and comment and thumbs up a few others in the link up – that’s how we share the love! Remember that commenting on other videos is not only a nice thing to do for a fellow vlogger, but it’s also a great way of advertising your channel, as other commenters will see your name. And no one likes a link dumper 😉

I’m continuing to share a TOP TIP for YouTube every week. If you have any tips to keep us going, leave me a comment below so I can share them. I have a little collection of great tips from you guys already so keep them coming!

This week’s tip is from Lauren Sharp…

“My top tip is try and watch as many other peoples videos as possible and if you can leave a nice comment. Not only are you making the creators feel good and opening up discussion, you are also able to gain ideas for your channel :)”

This is totally true – YouTube is a little community (as this linky shows) and we do better ourselves when we engage with that community. So watch other videos, leave some nice comments and contribute to the community.

I loved watching all your videos this week. A big thank you to all of you who have become regular linkers, I absolutely love catching up with you every week. Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to comment on other people’s videos too, I do notice every week and I am grateful to those of you who make such a great effort to support others.
I loved so many videos from last week, especially the mother’s day vlog from Honest Motherhood and Mama Mighalls video of what her toddler eats in a day. The best video of the week has to go to Maria from Maria Loves for her video about teenagers. I have a pre-teen and I am struggling with parenting her more than parenting my toddler some days! Listening to this was both scary and educational. I don’t know anyone with teenagers as I was the first among my friends to have children so it’s nice to get a little insight and tips on how to deal with what I have coming!

Here is this week’s link up. Link up a video and take a look at some others. I hope you’re all enjoying taking part. I’m leaving this link up open for 2 weeks because it’s Easter Sunday next week and with it being school holidays I think a little break is in order. So feel free to add more than one video to make up for it, just try to comment on more in return!

Aw thanks Ali, I have loved the teen years really, it can be scary and I certainly relate to that emotion a lot! It can also be really wonderful watching them blossom into the adults they are destined to be. They are a lot of fun too when the angst is pushed aside for a moment, I have really missed them all when they have gone off to uni, so I guess that is telling.

You’ll do great, you are such a wonderful mummy xx

    Much love.
