6 Years

This week we celebrated our sixth wedding anniversary. A drop in the ocean for many marriages but I felt very emotional about this one for some reason. We have done a lot in 6 years married. Life has moved quickly and in many ways our lives are unrecognisable. In other ways things are much the same. This morning I was thinking about all the things we have done in 6 years and thought I would write them down…

We got married

Happy anniversary to us!! #6years #wedding #anniversary #weddinganniversary

Travelled Europe

Lost a baby

Saw our big girl start school

Had a baby girl

Got some pets, lost some pets

Said goodbye to some dear people

Coped with the stresses of sick and injured children

Watched our second little girl start school

Went to Cyprus

Went through another pregnancy together and had a baby boy

Before I got married I could never have imagined being together with one person for so long, loving them so long, and being happy after so long. I am very lucky that the man I married is awesome, both as a husband and a father and I look forward to spending time with him. Here’s to the next 6 years and beyond!

Loved this. How precious life and time is. It flies by. 25 years for me and two kids who are now 23-24. Your pictures and captions are heartwarming. Have a lovely weekend. Koko❀

This is a lovely post and you’ve been through so much together in 6 years! We will have been married 6 years next July, by which point we will have a nearly 3 year old and a 6 month old too. Lovely photos. #TheOrdinaryMoments Amelia x

I think it is amazing just when you think about how much you have been though in all the years. We will have been married 6 years in December and like you, gosh it makes me think about all we have achieved in that time. These are gorgeous photos and memories, although some sad. I guess it makes you stronger though! Happy anniversary .x

Congratulations on 5 Years – its definitely an accomplishment these days and makes me so happy to read of peoples marriages and successes together. I’m sorry you lost a baby also, its so hard to think of all the things you missed with them, how different life looks and you are always aware there was one there.
You guys have done lots together and some beautiful pictures there to remember the good and hard times. Good luck for another 5! x #ordinaryMoments
