We’re gearing up for back to school this week in our house and one of the last jobs is buying all the new bits and bobs for the new term. The girls need new school uniform and it’s always an expensive time of year.
This year it’s been a little bit cheaper as we have found a great new place to get good quality uniform from – the Nutmeg range at Morrisons.
We were sent a box of items to review and we were really impressed with them.
They sell everything from polo shirts to socks to PE kit, with different styles to choose from too. You could pick up your entire school uniform shop up on your regular supermarket shop which is great. I’m all about convenience these days. With three children school uniform shopping is hard work now!
I was really impressed with the price of the range. The shirt that Little Miss J is wearing here is a snip at £3 and the dress is only £2.50. It is a huge saving on our normal uniform shop.
Of course buying cheap doesn’t always make sense in the long run, but I was actually really impressed with the quality of these clothes. The detailing on the shirt and dress is really pretty and they don’t look basic at all. Only time will tell but they look like they will wash and wear really well.
The tights were lovely and thick and soft too. I can imagine they’ll be really cosy in the winter.
The fabrics are lovely and Little Miss J was in love with her little outfit and it made her really excited for back to school!
And best of all for me is that they are all easy to care for. Easy iron and can be put in the tumble drier. Exactly what every mum needs to make life easier!
They also have a no quibble guarantee which is fantastic. For me this means I can buy all the uniform when on my shop and take it home to try on, safe in the knowledge I can return what doesn’t fit. Brilliant!
I’d definitely recommend checking out Nutmeg at Morrisons for your school uniform shop this week!
