Bunch O Balloons Review
How amazing has the weather been this lockdown? It's the one thing we haven't had to complain about that's for sure. Everything is made better when it is warm and sunny and the garden serves as an extra room for the children to play in, and I don't mind them making a mess out there!
We have long been a fan of Zuru's Bunch O Balloons. If you haven't come across them before they are water balloons that you can fill up via a tap or hosepipe and they are inflated and tie themselves in only 60 seconds! Really it is a total game changer - especially considering how many water balloons my children can get through when they are having a water fight! This is so easy to do that my children can even do this themselves, leaving me more time to sit in the sun watching them have fun!
Now of course you can have a regular old water fight with these balloons or you can mix it up by playing some good games with them. There are lots of ideas on the Bunch O Balloons website but here are some of my favourites...
Shoot hoops with your balloons
If you have a basketball or netball net in your garden you could get some target practice in by shooting your balloons through the net! Bonus points if you have someone standing underneath!
Parents vs kids
Luckily I enjoy a water fight as much as the kids, especially in this warm weather so I'm more than happy to get stuck into the fun and join in the fight!
Balloons vs Water pistols
Water guns are just as much fun as water balloons in a water fight! This makes a great vs game, which team would you be on?
Zuru also has a great range of water pistols and guns. Our favourite is the X Shot Fast Fill which has a brilliant range and speed, and as it's name suggests, it is easy to fill up!
The water filler / soaker is also a great option as you can use it to fill up your Bunch O Balloons too! This means that you can take your water balloons out with you - to the local park, beach, or wherever!
One of the things that I didn't like about water balloons is the plastic waste element. But Bunch O Balloons are now fully recyclable with the Terracycle scheme which is absolutely brilliant. We already use Terracycle for other recycling and it works really well. You can find out more about the Bunch O Balloons terracycle scheme here.
I hope you have fun in the sun with some great water activities like these - honestly my children have never laughed so much as when they are throwing water around like this!
