Christmas Shopping for Cyber Monday Online Deals

I don’t know about you, but as a busy working parent, I do most of my Christmas shopping online. I just find it so much easier than taking the time off to drag around the shops, pushing my way through the crowds.

As parents we all know how difficult it is to wrangle a pushchair through the busy shops and struggle with all the bags so I just prefer the ease of shopping online and having it delivered to my home!

I also think that you can shop around online easier to get some really good deals, which you can’t always in the shops. You can compare prices between different stores and shop a little bit wiser, avoiding those impulse purchases. I write a list of everything I want and just get it done, no distractions.

It’s definitely worth getting online for Cyber Monday too. This year it is on Monday 27th November which will give you plenty of time to get your presents delivered and wrap them before Christmas!

My girls have already started writing their Christmas lists and I know that there are lots of books, stationary and craft materials on there. It’s good to know that The Works will be participating in Cyber Monday as I know that I can get lots of books and pens for them as well as some toys and games. There is so much that The Works sells which would make great Christmas gifts – they even have a whole section on slime! I find that everything is such great value too, even when it’s not cyber Monday.

What about you? Do you prefer to browse the shops or are you an online bargain hunter scouring the cyber Monday online deals like me? I’m interested in hearing how everyone else plans for the festive season!

Cyber Monday and black Friday are going to have so many great deals, definitely worth getting Christmas presents during that time.

  2. October 26, 2017 / 12:34 pm

I Will do absolutely anything to avoid the bustle of actual shops in early December so online shopping definitely suits me! I’m saving a few items to buy to see how I get on during Cyber Monday.

Good luck! I hope what you want comes up in the sale 🙂

As my Daughter is wheelchair bound now when we go out, shopping online is so much easier. I also find it much more relaxing as you can browse easier. I have already got lists saved and where to buy x

    • October 28, 2017 / 11:37 am

Sounds like you are nice and organised and yes, it’s so much easier than struggling with a wheelchair in town.

I never have any desire to trawl the shops at the best of times – let alone at Christmas! Too many people and they all go mental when it comes to Christmas shopping. Battling my way through a shopping centre with a pushchair, a toddler, 17 bags and a headache? Or sitting at home with my feet up, a little glass of fizz and and the iPad when the kids are in bed?

I know which one I’ll go for!

  5. October 26, 2017 / 5:52 pm

I am all about shopping online! I have done a lot of my Christmas shopping already, though, so it isn’t all left until end of the year 🙂

  6. October 26, 2017 / 7:39 pm

I have to admit I do most of my shopping online these days, I don’t have the ability to go hunting the shops with my mobility to having the option to shop online is great.

    • October 28, 2017 / 11:36 am

It’s definitely easier to shop from home if it’s hard for you to get about. Less stressful too!

  7. October 26, 2017 / 9:25 pm

Although I like going to the shops and having a look around, I tend to do most of our Christmas shopping online.

  8. October 26, 2017 / 9:42 pm

Cyber Monday in November seems very early this year. We’re still racking our brains for the kids main presents – they’re after iPods because all their friends are texting each other. It’s an outright no for a phone at the moment. I do love online shopping but it’s great to do a bit of retail shopping if you can get some time to yourself and leave the kids at home!

    • October 28, 2017 / 11:34 am

Next year I’ll be able to hit the shops when they are all at school! My eldest has written a list, but not my middle daughter and my little boy thankfully still doesn’t have a clue!

  9. October 27, 2017 / 4:43 am

I will be venturing out into the Black Friday loopiness on Saturday….I had a pretty year last year in getting presents for a friend who gave me his list.

  10. October 27, 2017 / 9:46 am

I buy a lot of my stuff online so black friday/ cyber monday are always great times for me to buy a lot of presents and things x

  11. October 27, 2017 / 12:40 pm

Cyber Monday is definitely a good time to get the Christmas presents in or that bargain that you’ve been waiting for. It’s always great to have a bargain and save some pennies.

    • October 28, 2017 / 11:26 am

Definitely, every penny counts at this time of year!

  12. October 27, 2017 / 5:38 pm

I do like to mix it up a bit with a combination of instore and online shopping. I need to start preparing for Christmas.

  13. October 27, 2017 / 8:31 pm

Its good you promped us about cyber Monday I shall look for for a bargain or two. The works is one of my favorite shops for craft items and books too.

  14. October 28, 2017 / 1:32 am

I much prefer to shop online. Easier and avoids the mahem x

  15. October 28, 2017 / 10:27 am

I prefer to do my shopping online especially if the company offers free returns but I always go to the town during Christmas period just to soak up the fibe

    • October 28, 2017 / 11:22 am

I do try to pop in to pick up little stocking fillers and browse the Christmas markets too!

  16. October 28, 2017 / 12:26 pm

I’d actually prefer online shopping to avoid the busy people rustling about though the disadvantage in online shopping is you don’t get to see the product that you are going to buy beforehand. What I also like is the great deals you find and even some freebies.

    • October 28, 2017 / 10:28 pm

Yes it’s nice to see some things before you buy them, but luckily it’s easy to send things back if you don’t like it nowadays.

  17. October 28, 2017 / 1:19 pm

This year, I have quite a few things that I really need to pick up- a new TV and soundbar, a Sonos Play and a dining table so I’m really hoping that I can bag some bargains xxx

  18. October 28, 2017 / 1:27 pm

Online shopping is so much easier, I very rarely go into shops now especially with the kids! x

  19. October 30, 2017 / 10:45 am

I dont often wait for these days to arrive due to past experiences , sometimes for instance the other year we bought all the kids consoles, 5 in total one xmas and thought we got a great deal but found later on they were to be reduced outsdie of the black friday dates, it is worth looking for sometimes though , i do however prefer to shop everything online its always a great resource for deals
