Clean those bathroom toys

One of the most yucky things about kids bath toys is the disgusting state they can get into. Of course they get put away wet and develop all sorts of black mould in no time. If like me you simply don’t have the time or inclination to ensure that they are all dry before packing away after each bath you will need to periodically clean them. Here is what I do…

Fill the bath or sink with warm water and add some bleach. Soak the toys in there for an hour or so. Make sure that you fill up the rubber ducks with the bleach water by sucking them in before they are dunked. When they have soaked for a bit, get an old toothbrush and scrub away especially in all the fiddly nooks and crannies. Don’t forget to squeeze out the bleachy water from the ducks. Give them a good rinse with clean water (and again squeeze out the ducks in the clean water to rinse them).

All sorted…until next time.
