Dr Dennis Gross Skincare
Dr Dennis Gross is a big name in skincare. You will probably have heard of Dr Dennis Gross peel pads as they are iconic in the beauty world and renowned for their skin renewal benefits. Dr Dennis Gross is a skincare name that has a great reputation and can be relied upon for results. The products are on the more expensive side, but they last well and work very effectively so in my opinion are worth spending that bit more on.
Ferulic and Retinol Anti-Aging Moisturizer
This anti-aging moisturizer is a lovely thick cream which soaks in like a dream which makes it perfect for morning and evening use. I have been using it every evening for the last few weeks and I love how it feels on my skin, soaking in quickly and leaving my skin feeling soft and not at all greasy. It is perfect for layering over a decent serum and having a good sleep knowing that these products are working for you as you sleep.
It has a mild, inoffensive scent which again means it is very suitable for day or evening use and if used in the morning it makes an excellent primer for make up due to how smooth it leaves your skin.
Ingredients
This moisturizer contains a potent cocktail of professional ingredients - Retinol, Ferulic Acid and the brand’s own ECG Complex™ which helps to provide lasting moisture, smooths rough skin and plumps out all those fine lines and wrinkles which can really add on the years.
Retinol works to lock in moisture and smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while the ECG complex works on the visible signs of photo-aging, helping to reduce dark spots and even skin tone. Ferulic acid works to boost the power of vitamins in skin repair, while its antioxidant properties help to reduce the harmful effects of lifestyle and environmental exposure.
I really like that it has anti-oxidant properties and that it protects your skin from environmental exposure, this is so important in today's world. I also really felt it's plumping and moisturizing effects worked well.
This cream retails at £72 for a 50ml pot so it is expensive, but a little goes a long way and given that it's suitable for such a wide range of skin types and produces such great results and benefits, I definitely think it is worth the investment if you can afford it.
Other notable products
Other recommended products in the Dr Dennis Gross range are the peel pads, pore cleansing gel, and vitamin c serum.
