Easter Egg Nest Crispie Cakes
It is something of a tradition to make these little beauties every Easter. They are so simple to make and I love that the kids can join in with making them really easily. Mine love making them (and eating them too!). I also find that they are a perfect after school playdate activity as they are quick, relatively mess free, and they give the playdate something nice to take home too.
What you will need...
Cupcake cases
Rice crispies
Milk chocolate
What to do...
Melt the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Or, for a more child friendly option, put it in a large microwavable bowl and put it in the microwave on defrost for thirty seconds at a time, stirring in between until it is fully melted.
Stir rice crispies into the melted chocolate, enough so that they are evenly coated. Scoop the chocolate crispie mixture into the cupcake cases and top with mini eggs. Leave to set.
So easy, and yet so delicious! Have you made these with your children before?

These are my go to bakes with my little lady, she is allergic to egg so baking with her is tricky. I love the idea of making them in to nest with the mini eggs, will be doing this for easter! x
