My children love crafts and while I love to let their little imaginations run wild, it's nice to give them a theme to run with. While the weather has been nicer we have been doing some flower related crafts - making flowers and doing things with real flowers too. I thought I would put together a little post with some inspiration for some crafts you could do with your little one this Spring.
You could use scraps to make a spring themed picture like we did in this post...
You could use artificial flowers to make a flower crown - my daughter loved this and the best part was that she could wear it afterwards too!
One day we made this flower with Hama beads. The girls loved talking about different colour combinations and the fiddly beads are great for working on fine motor control.
You could also collect real flowers from your garden and make a pretty picture using them. If you want your picture to last you could press the flowers before you do this using kitchen paper and heavy books and wait for a couple of weeks until they are dried out.
I hope this has given you a few flower themed craft ideas to do with your children!
