Little Memories #3

I’m so behind with blogging this week…family life is hectic again and I am so tired in the evenings I just end up falling asleep on the sofa. So it’s a little late but here are our little memories from the week…

This week has been an emotional one for us. I realised that I put a lot of pressure on her as the oldest to behave nicely and I think she has felt very personally some of the stress that has been coursing through our household lately. This week she has really opened up to me and whilst it has made me quite sad and down about my mothering skills I feel we are in a more open place and can really move forward from here.

Jelly Baby…

What can I say – she is as crazy as ever! She is a little monkey but gets away with murder as she is so cute! This week she thought this was great attire for a sunny cold day and marched off to school like this!

Baby Sprout…

This beautiful baby has been full of smiles and is utterly gorgeous! We went out for coffee with my mum and everybody gushed over him. It was one of those really proud moments – I am so happy that he is mine!

Beautiful post. I usually call my son Bean as well. Like you I have expectations of him and I should probably not do this. Thinking about it now.

    Lovely photos btw =)

I am guilty of expecting too much from my kids too. It is hard not to! Glad that she is able to talk to you about it though you must have a strong relationship!
