Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Review

For Mother’s Day I asked for one thing – this Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. Over the last few years I have read so much about it and I really wanted to try it. I prefer to actually wash my face rather than use another type of cleanser as it makes me feel more ‘clean’ and after having a few blemishes appear on my skin I knew it was time to change my facial routine.

At a very reasonable £14.75 for the starter kit (100ml face wash and 2 muslin cloths) this is a luxury product without a massive luxury price tag. Yes, it is dearer than your average face wash, but in my opinion it is well worth the money.

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Review

You rub a little into your face with your fingers. This is lovely and relaxing and the wash has a gorgeous scent, which leaves your face tingling slightly with freshness. The product is nice and thick and rich and you can really work it into your skin. Then you simply polish it off with the muslin cloth dipped in hot water. This exfoliates the skin and leaves it not only clean, but soft. There is none of that tightness that you might expect with a face wash.

In fact I am so impressed with this wash that I am considering buying other products in the range such as the skin tonic and moisturiser. If they are half as good as the face wash then they will be worth it.
