A Luxury Father’s Day Gift Guide
I realise that not everyone has a lot of money to spend on gifts, and we always have a fixed budget for occasions but Father’s Day is one of those occasions that I like to splash out on. Maybe it’s because I don’t have a dad myself so I really appreciate everything my husband does for us and our family. I know just how much he loves the children and that he would do anything for them. If we didn’t have the money for an expensive gift it wouldn’t matter at all, but where I can I like to show just how much we appreciate him.
So here’s a few things you could get for Father’s Day which would make really very special treats…
A Designer Watch
What man doesn’t like a fancy watch and it’s such a nice thing to give as a gift because it’s something that can be worn all the time.
I really love this smart watch by Hugo Boss, it’s classic and timeless and would go with anything. Watch, £250 from Ernest Jones.
Or for the more sporty man or gadget lover an Apple Watch is a great choice. I know my husband would spend hours playing with it and would love all the apps! Apple Watch from £269.
A Nice Shirt
A really nice shirt makes a wonderful gift. I know that my husband really likes a designer shirt and they have a great selection at Mainline Menswear, from a variety of designers. This one from Ralph Lauren is perfect for summer with it’s vibrant blue colour. I think he has aspirations for a whole designer shirt collection! Shirt, Ralph Lauren from Mainline Menswear, £75
Good Quality Headphones
My husband listens to music a lot on his commute and is starting to exercise too so he was looking for some over the ear headphones. These over the ear headphones from Amara are perfect for the music lover. They are really comfy to wear and connect by Bluetooth so there are no awkward wires. They come in a selection of colours and come in a great gift box too which is perfect for Father’s Day. Kreafunk Headphones, £79 from Amara.
A Trip Away
One of the hardest things about being a father, is the same as being a mother, it’s the lack of time you get to yourself. A little trip away can provide all the rest and recuperation we need to get us through the next few months as parents! My husband loves a spa break but a city break would be great too. Take a look at lastminute.com for some great city and spa break ideas.
So there’s a little bit of inspiration if you fancy splashing out this Father’s Day – I’m sure Daddy will appreciate it!
