Disclosure - we were given this toy for the purpose of this post and paid for my time in writing this review. All opinions are honest and my own.
My youngest two love PJ Masks, especially Little Boy (4). When I was looking at Christmas gifts for him this PJ Masks Mission Control HQ Playset really stood out as it is a good sized present that I thought he would really enjoy playing with. We were delighted that we got to review it before Christmas so we could tell you what we think of it.
The PJ Masks Mission Control HQ Playset has three layers and comes with two figures (Catboy and Romeo) and also a few little accessories. Once it is put together it is quite a large set but it does fold down smaller for storage so you can put it out of the way when it isn't being played with.
It is a really great interactive toy which will really fuel their imaginative play. There are several parts to it that can be played with in different fun ways and I know it will provide hours of fun!
There is a secret trap door and cage for trapping villains which mine loved! They really enjoyed pressing the button and watching Romeo fall into the cage and be trapped!
There is also a lights and sounds control panel - you can press the button and hear sounds and phrases from the show which is fabulous if your little one is a fan as they will recognise them!
You can also send Catboy spinning down the corkscrew pole - send him off to save the day!
You can buy other figures separately (the set accommodates all the 7.5cm figures and there is a Gekko shield and mission tablet that Gekko and Owlette could certainly make use of!
There are so many little features and attention to detail in this set which really sets it apart. There are little ladders for the figures to climb and even a laser gun at the top that you can shoot one of the accessories from! Let me tell you this was a favourite part!
You can buy the PJ Masks Mission Control HQ Playset in all good toys stores, on Amazon and at Smyths Toys. It retails at £49.99 and is aimed at ages 3-6, I know that my little boy who is 4 loved it as did his sister who is 7.
There is also a great video here which shows you the whole playset in action.
