Review: Asda Make up – Blush and Concealer

Are you a make up snob? Do you prefer more expensive products over cheaper alternatives? I’m not really sure which camp I fall into – I love the luxury of designer brands but in reality I never get into town to buy them, and my money is more likely to be spent on baby wipes and nappies now.

I have often browsed the make up whilst doing my grocery shop but wondered about the quality of what was available. Well ladies – it is not bad!!

I was sent a George blush in Rosey and George under eye concealer to try and this is what I thought.

The blush came in a handy little pot which was a little tricky to open – perfect for me as it stops little fingers from getting in! The colour was really nice, if a little low pigmented. It is definitely one to layer on, which is not a bad thing at all. It will be great for the summer. At £3 it is a snip!

The concealer was really fab though. It was a little too dark for me, but in the right shade it is lovely and thick with great coverage. The handy applicator means no faffing about – you can apply it in seconds. Definitely a rival for the Touch Eclat and at £4.50 it isn’t going to break the shopping budget.

Disclosure – I was sent these items for the purposes of the review. All opinions are honest and my own.
