Review: Plantasia in Swansea

The weather has been so rubbish lately we haven’t been able to get out and about as much as we are used to. Weekends are difficult now as the girls between them have so many different activities and commitments it is hard to find a spare day for a trip out.

So I got googling and found a place called Plantasia in Swansea. It was close enough and little enough to be able to be done in an afternoon, so one rainy Sunday afternoon off we went.

It was about £10 for the four of us to get in (Jelly Baby was free). This was ok – just about right for what was there probably. There were lots of tropical plants, some animals and an example of a rainforest hut and a room for colouring and playing. There is also a little shop and cafe which are free to get into.

All in all it was a great afternoon out – a nice warm place to while away an hour or two. The girls especially loved being able to feed the Koi Karp!
