When your little one is sat in their rearward facing car seat it can be difficult to see them and what they are up to. Even when they are very small I liked to be able to check that they were ok. Now babies are sat rear-facing for longer, it is wise to invest in a mirror to make sure you can see them clearly while you are driving.
Obviously when you are driving your attention is on the road, and any glance into the baby mirror is a very quick one. This is why the new Royal Rascals baby car mirror is bright yellow in colour as it immediately draws your attention making that quick glance easier. Apparently human vision is drawn to the colour yellow quicker than any other colour meaning that very quickly you can check on your child without taking too much attention from driving.
The mirror is also baby safe as it is shatterproof, lightweight, has adjustable straps and rotates 360 degrees to ensure it is able to be secured firmly into the correct position and angled to give the perfect view.
I think this product looks fab and would have been perfect for when my little one was travelling rearward facing. Royal Rascals have kindly offered one of their mirrors to a lucky reader of mine.
