American Style pancakes topped with chocolate chips.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Plain Flour
  • 4 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 350 ml milk
  • 100 g chocolate chips chilled or frozen

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together.

  2. Mix the wet ingredients together and mix the wet and the dry

  3. Add the chocolate chips

  4. Spray a large frying pan with low calorie spray and spoon the mixture in dollops into the pan. 

  5. Cook for about a minute on the first side and 30 seconds on the other side - wait until the pancake bubbles on top and is firm enough to flip before turning over. The pancake should be golden brown on both sides.

  6. Serve immediately.
