Healthy Vegan Waffles

Ingredients

  • cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • cups plain flour
  • teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Put the almond milk and vinegar into a bowl, stir and let sit for 5 minutes.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients in another bowl

  3. Whisk the rest of the wet ingredients into the milk and vinegar mixture.

  4. Stir in the dry ingredients and let sit for another 5 minutes while your waffle maker heats up.

  5. Spray your waffle maker with coconut oil and cook the waffles until they are crispy on the outside.

  6. Serve with fruit and maple syrup or whatever you choose!
