YouTube Sunday #23

And it’s Sunday again already! How has your week been? Ours has been full of birthday celebrations and now I’m frantically trying to catch up on everything because it’s half term next week! I’ve loved watching all your videos this week, especially your craft ones and I’m feeling more inspired for half term now! I know a lot of you were on half term this week just gone so I hope to see lots of half term videos linked up! Please do continue to like and comment on other people’s videos and share them on social media too.

If you are new to this linky, it goes live every Sunday morning and you can link up any video you like, old or new. You can link directly to the video or the blog post, it’s up to you. If you have embedded your video into a blog post feel free to add the badge to raise awareness of the linky.

I promise to watch and share on social media every one of your videos. It would be great if you could watch and comment and thumbs up a few others in the link up – that’s how we share the love! Remember that commenting on other videos is not only a nice thing to do for a fellow vlogger, but it’s also a great way of advertising your channel, as other commenters will see your name. And no one likes a link dumper 😉

A new thing I thought I would try is sharing a TOP TIP for YouTube every week. If you have any tips to keep us going, leave me a comment below so I can share them.

If you are sharing a video from your channel, make sure you share it from the link in your playlist. That way, the rest of the playlist will automatically follow when someone is watching. YouTube like it when people stay on your channel so this means more views for you. A big thank you to Colette from Going on an Adventure for this tip I saw in a Facebook group.

This week from the YouTube Sunday link up I loved this Day In The Life video from Molly Forbes. I love Molly’s blog but have never watched her YouTube channel before. Her day is so similar to mine it had me chuckling at points – debating hat choices with toddlers and hating the school run. It’s so nice to watch other people’s videos and know that you are not alone in the ordinary daily struggle!!

Here is this week’s link up. Link up a video and take a look at some others. I’ve been gaining quite a few  subscribers since starting this linky and I hope that you have too.

If you have embedded your video in a blog post feel free to add the badge so we can raise awareness of the linky. Sorry last week the code was wrong, I noticed when I saw it on someone’s blog! It’s fixed now!

Hi! A top tip is to let the video you are watching play through to the end, because that counts toward a view for the author, and a thumbs up and encouraging comment always helps too… rather than a click and run! Lovely to be back 🙂
