3 Treatment Options For Male Pattern Baldness

    Colab post

Male pattern baldness is a condition that affects most men at some point in their lives. By the time you're 50, you expect to see some signs of hair loss. The problem is when this happens in your twenties or thirties. You don't want to lose your hair as it's one of your best assets. You get compliments about it all the time and you're worried that going bald will make you less attractive.

Funnily enough, some guys look more handsome when they're bald! Nevertheless, you'd prefer not to find out if you look good or not. Going bald makes you feel incredibly self-conscious and you'd like to avoid it if possible. The good news is that modern technology and medicine mean male pattern baldness can be treated and controlled. Here are three ideas to consider:

    FUE Transplant

FUE stands for follicular unit excision, and it's a hair transplant surgery that's growing in popularity among balding men. Lots of celebs have had it done and it involves taking hair follicles from other parts of your body and transplanting them to the balding areas. This is then combined with other treatments to encourage new hair growth. The results are quite astounding as some people have gone from being severely bald to having a full head of hair again. Clinics like Gro Clinics hair transplant specialise in this advanced method, offering personalised treatment plans for long-term, natural-looking results.

    Laser Therapy

Over the last few years, cosmetic laser procedures have started springing up everywhere. You can use lasers for all sorts of different beauty issues - such as wrinkles, acne, and scars, or even to remove unwanted hair.

Ironically, you can now use laser therapy to encourage hair growth. Low-level lasers are used to encourage hair cells to restore themselves. As a result, new hair starts to grow from the follicles. It has a reasonably high success rate, though it might not work for everyone. Again, it's also pretty expensive so be sure you absolutely want to go through with it.

    Medication

Various medications can be bought online to treat male pattern baldness. The most common one is called finasteride, and it is designed to target the hormones that cause hair loss to happen. Taking this medication won't regrow your hair, but it can stop it from falling out.

If you're only just noticing the early signs of male pattern baldness, this is the most cost-effective treatment to consider. You can combine it with special shampoo or conditioner to strengthen your hair and make it thicker. Overall, it's way less invasive than surgeries and you don't have the risk of spending lots of money yet seeing no results. The downside is that it won't reverse the signs of balding. If you're already bald, this won't help you grow more hair.

Remember, there's absolutely nothing wrong with going bald and you could easily embrace it. However, it's understandable if you feel too self-conscious. If baldness effects you to the point that it's actively ruining your life, seek treatments. Three possibilities are shown above, but don't be afraid to see your doctor and ask them for any recommendations.
