5 Fun Things To Do With An Inflatable Paddle Board

    Oct 14, 2022 · Modified: Oct 22, 2022 by Ali · Leave a Comment

Land ahoy! Plan ahead for summer with an inflatable paddle board, and 5 fun things to do with one

It may be a long while until summer returns, but it's never too early to plan ahead and brush up on your inflatable paddle board skills so that when summer rolls around, you'll be quite the paddleboard connoisseur among your friends.

There are a myriad of water sports and activities out there, but paddle boarding provides a lot of freedom and flexibility - there is so much that you can do and lots of fun to be made. With that being said, here are five fun things you can do with one.

    Workout and exercise

Since you can stand up on an inflatable paddle board, you can do quite a lot of exercise and fitness activities, all while balancing on water. Fitness may seem boring for some, but when you're floating in the sea or surrounded by woodlands in a lake, you'll have more nature and scenic beauty to spur you on.

Who needs a crowded gym when you can perform some push-ups or squats in the heart of a picturesque lake? There's no better way to combine fun with fitness.

    Go fishing

Like a primal man on his raft, you can stand up tall on your inflatable paddle board and hunt for some fish in style. Paddle board fishing is a new and extremely fun way to enjoy the art of fishing from the water - but be careful not to catch anything too big - if you fall back, you'll like a fish in the water too.

Whether you are a fishing professional or have never caught a fish in your life, this requires no need to hire a boat and will be nothing short of fun throughout.

    Paddle boarding with your pooch

Dogs love water and swimming - or as we call it, doggy paddle - well, if they like paddling, they must also like paddle boarding. After just one day on the water, we're confident your pooch will be eager to go paddleboarding again and again. It's a fantastic opportunity to go outside and appreciate nature with your furry friend.

Dogs love being outside as much as they can, and one of their favourite things in life is exploring new sights, scents and sounds, so, for that reason, you shouldn't think twice about venturing out onto the water with your pet pooch.

    Race your mates

One activity everyone should definitely try out on an inflatable paddle board is racing. There's no better way to have fun than by racing your mates or family members and blowing them out of the water. Though paddle boards are excellent for relaxing and performing activities like yoga, they're also great for sparking some sporting competition.

Find the perfect racing venue, jump aboard your paddle boards and gear up for a spectacular round of racing - also, be prepared to get wet and soaked up in the action.

    Paddle yoga

Take to the water and master your yoga skills. Yoga is even better with the right scenery, and with a paddle board, you can dabble along to the perfect serene spot and do some yoga. The tranquil sound of nature will also allow you to do some meditation.
