    A Family Photo - April 2018

    May 1, 2018 by Ali · 11 Comments

April could possibly have been the most miserable month weather wise. We had those two lovely days but other than that it is still cold and wet and windy and we're still all in our winter coats! I'm totally fed up of the cold weather and really ready for summer to start - come on May I have high hopes for you!

This photo was taken at the weekend when we went on a little search for bluebells. I take photos of the children in the bluebell woods every year but this year they just weren't out enough, maybe because the weather has been so bad! We did manage to get some good photos anyway and I'm really happy with this one.

This is my team, my gang and my whole world and boy the children look really grown up here! Gone are the podgy baby faces and I don't need to follow them around watching their steps in case they fall. Them growing up will always feel bittersweet but I know that the coming years are going to be full of adventure and fun with these gorgeous people with me.

This spring really was miserable for weather! Glad you still got a nice photo of you and your family and had a fun outing with them.

You have a beautiful family. Smart idea to capture photos of them on the regular basis because they do grow up so very quickly. I think I only have one or two photos from my childhood.

I could so well relate to the bitter-sweetness of watching your children grow! I must say that the photo you shared is such a beautiful one! The back drop of the lush green woods is gorgeous and you have such a beautiful family! I hope the weather warms up soon and that you will be able to find bluebells soon!

What a darling picture. Family photos are the best keep sake, plus you get to bribe the kids when they are older with it too.

My parents also enjoy taking a lot of family pictures when we were young. Your kids are blessed to have you. They'll treasure these photos.
