February was sooooo cold wasn't it! I think it just added to the absolutely misery of lockdown, no end in sight and freezing weather. It also seemed like everywhere else got snow, but we only had a few flakes and nothing that really settled.
These photos were taken on one of the days that it did snow a little and we made the most and went out to the park to have a run around and play in it. The children even managed to scrape together enough snow to make a snowball!
I did wish that it had snowed properly, it would have made for a break in the mundane routine and given us something fun to do, but I am pleased that the weather is warming up now and I can't wait for spring and summer now.
You will probably spot that the girls dyed their hair pink! That did brighten our day and give us something to do, and it is pretty much washed out now don't worry!
I was also just looking for previous year's photos and was wondering why February 2020 was missing and then I remembered that that month was the start of everything going wrong. My eldest got ill and spent a few nights in hospital and before she had even recovered Covid-19 hit. What a year it has been.
