Disclosure - we were gifted a gin advent calendar for the purpose of this post. All opinions are honest and our own.
I'm not sure when it started but at some point advent calendars became a big deal in our house. When I was younger we had one chocolate advent calendar and that was it - now advent calendars are bigger and better than ever and I always treat everyone in the family to a special advent calendar. It is a lovely thing to open in the lead up to Christmas and it's a special treat in what is a crazy hectic time for us as a family.
My husband absolutely loves gin and in the festive season enjoys a glass in the evening. This year he will be enjoying a different gin every day thanks to this fabulous That Boutique-y Gin Company gin advent calendar by Drinks by the Dram which we received from Master of Malt.
Behind each door are 24 different hand-waxed 30ml drams of different flavoured gins. They come from 9 different distilleries and 4 different countries. It is a real treat not knowing what you will get each day and testing them all out. I'm sure we will find some new favourites to treat ourselves to full size bottles of in the new year!
