    Amalfi Coast

The Amalfi Coast is one of Italy's most recognisable destinations. This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts dramatic cliffs that plunge into the sparkling Tyrrhenian Sea and spectacular villages like Positano and Ravello.

The coastal drive along the Amalfi Coast is one of the most scenic in the world, offering panoramic views that are a true feast for the eyes. Stopping at monuments and landmarks on foot gives you a chance to take it all in with greater appreciation.

You'll have the chance to explore historic sites, such as the Amalfi Cathedral, and enjoy a leisurely boat trip to the nearby island of Capri. Otherwise, you can bathe at the region's many beaches and enjoy its exquisite cuisine featuring fresh seafood and handmade pasta.

    Costa Brava

Spain's Costa Brava is a stunning stretch of coastline in Catalonia. The area is best known for its rugged beauty, offering sandy beaches, hidden coves and charming fishing towns like Cadaqués and Calella de Palafrugell.

It's perfect for those looking for both relaxation and adventure, with opportunities for diving, snorkelling and hiking along the scenic coastal paths. Many say it provides a more authentic experience than other areas such as the Costa del Sol.

Art lovers will appreciate the connection to Salvador Dalí, whose house in Portlligat and the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres are must-visit attractions. The Costa Brava is also celebrated for its gastronomy, including fresh seafood dishes and innovative Catalan cuisine.

    Algarve

The Algarve is located at the southern tip of Portugal. Famed for its stunning beaches, intriguing cliff formations and pleasurable climate throughout the year, it's a popular spot for many British holidayers. The region is also home to some of Europe's best golf courses, attracting enthusiasts from around the world to its championship-standard links and fairways.

This coastline is dotted with beautiful towns such as Lagos, Albufeira and Tavira, each offering charming beaches and a range of activities from water sports to golf. The Algarve is also a seafood lovers paradise, with an array of restaurants serving local dishes like cataplana and grilled sardines.

Inland, visitors can explore traditional villages, lush vineyards and scenic landscapes perfect for activities such as hiking and cycling. There's plenty to warrant a visit to the Algarve.

    Dalmatian Coast

Croatia's Dalmatian Coast is a spectacular feature of the Adriatic Sea. Crystal-clear waters, historic towns and over a thousand islands can be a playground for your next getaway.

At key destinations such as Dubrovnik, Split and Hvar, you can immerse yourself in a blend of history, culture and natural beauty. Dubrovnik, nicknamed the "Pearl of the Adriatic," is a UNESCO World Heritage site with its well-preserved medieval walls and stunning old town. A must-see for Game of Thrones fans too!

The region's many islands are perfect for tours, sailing and exploring the incredible landscapes of national parks like Krka and Mljet. Which coastal region will you visit on your next holiday?
