I really like receiving something personal at Christmas time. It just says to me that the person buying it has really thought about me, what I would like and chosen something specifically for me, rather than just something generic.
Jewellery always goes down well because it's something I don't really buy for myself so it's nice to receive something like that as a treat. I was delighted to be asked by J&S Jewellery last week to choose myself something from their website. I chose to create my own necklace and I am absolutely in love with it, I think I'll wear it everywhere!
Firstly you choose which chain you want, and then which plating. I went for rose gold as I am still obsessed with it at the moment.
You can then choose from a variety of charms. I went for the children's initials and their birthstones. I added a star charm to remember Baby Pea who we lost 6 years ago.
You can choose where on the necklace you would like your charms to be placed by easily moving them around on the screen. I loved this feature as you could swap in and out different charms and see what it looked like. I decided to put my charms in the order of their births.
It is really fun to have a little play with it and see what designs you can come up with. Helpfully when you add or take away charms the price changes so you can clearly see how much you have spent which is great if you have a budget to stick to.
Once you are ready to check out you can even add a free gift card to your order.
My necklace arrived really quickly and nicely packaged in a presentation box.
It is absolutely beautiful and I love what it represents. It looks great quality and I have already had so many lovely comments from people when I have been wearing it. I really like how it means something very special to me. I also think it is great value for something unique and personalised.
