DIY Ombre Chest of Drawers
We've had this pine set of chest of drawers for about 7 years now. I bought them because they were cheap and functional and I planned to paint them, just I never got around to it before now!
My nesting instinct prompted me to tidy the mess that was on my landing. It had become a dumping ground and looked messy and unhomely. Part of that tidying up I knew meant painting this chest of drawers.
We had some white paint in the shed and bought little testers of grey paint for the drawer fronts. Because we were painting plain wood we painted two coats of primer first. I am so happy with the look of the drawers now - such a cheap and easy fix and now we have a really original and unique piece of furniture (and a tidy landing!).
