A Family Photo April 2017

Another month has simply flown by! At least I'm on a roll with these photos and haven't missed one yet!

This month's photo was taken on the beach in Aberystwyth. This place has so many special memories for me - it's where I lived for 5 years while I was at university and I absolutely loved every second of the time I spent there.

Of course it's different when you go back. Things have changed - they even have a Starbucks now!! I'm not sure that I could have afforded a Starbucks addiction when I lived there though! There is also that is much the same, many restaurants are still there and the arcade is much unchanged. We stayed in the Premier Inn on the seafront and the children loved playing on the stony beach. It seemed funny that they loved the beach so much considering that we live right on one ourselves but they were fascinated with the stones and throwing them into the sea.

We had dinner on the Pier and then played in the arcade afterwards. The young chap took a liking to Little Miss J and she got more than her fair share of sweets when she exchanged her tickets!!

We had such a lovely weekend, and though I would normally film a little vlog of a weekend away like this, I decided not to this time so I could just be present in the moment which was really nice actually, although I know I'll miss looking back on the video!

So here's this month's photo, as usual, taken with the camera balanced on the pushchair!!! I really must remember to take the tripod out with me to take these photos! I love how blue the sea is and the sass in Little Miss J's pose!!
