    Hotter Shoes Review

    May 25, 2015 · Modified: Sep 19, 2022 by Ali · 3 Comments

Nine years ago I was tottering around in heels on a daily basis. Except that tottering wasn't the word - I could actually walk in heels - they were my day to day attire, dare I say it - they were comfortable and I loved wearing them. As I wasn't blessed with tall genes, I actually needed those heels to make me feel more 'grown up', more worthy in the office, less like a kid really!!

Eight years ago I slipped in those heels when I was pregnant walking to work. I swapped my heels for flats for the walk in and swapped back to heels in the office.

Seven and a half years ago I realised that heels and pushchair pushing on a daily basis didn't mix. I sadly consigned my heels to the back of the wardrobe and embraced flats. Sure they were boring and uninspiring but at least they were comfy.

Fast forward to today when to my absolute delight I can say I have found comfy heels!! Heels that I can do the school run in! Heels that not only look good but genuinely feel like I am walking on cushions. They are the holy grail of mummy shoes!

I hadn't heard of Hotter Shoes before I was introduced to them at the Blog on Cymru conference. Apparently I had been living in a hole because everyone there raved about them. I'm not kidding. One blogger practically dragged me to the stand to show me her recent pair from there. If word of mouth is anything to go by, Hotter Shoes have some fans out there!

I was very excited to have been able to choose my own pair for this review. It took me ages to decide - there were so many options! And they had so many fun colours, styles and even accessories which I had to browse!! I can't tell you how pleased I was to see that they come in half sizes (I am a very awkward 4.5!) and they also have lots of wide-fit options.

I settled on this pair of black wedges .

They are classic, stylish and I thought they would go with lots of different outfits. I have been wearing them for the past month and they are simply fabulous. The first time I put them on it was like walking on sprung cushions! I've worn them on the school run, in and out of the car, pushing the pushchair, everything and I can honestly say they are so comfy I love them!

hotter shoes Now I can walk with the children, through the park after school, in my high heels feeling great. Thank you hotter shoes for giving me my shoe mojo back - 8 years after I lost it! Proof that mummy shoes don't have to be boring!

hotter shoes review Disclosure - I was given these shoes for the purposes of this review. All opinions are honest and my own.
