How to choose the perfect type of wedding for you

Weddings aren't something that you get to do all that often. As a result, there can be a lot of pressure to get things just right. The allure of a perfect wedding is something that many of us will aspire to, but getting it just right can be somewhat daunting.

That being said, by taking a strategic approach to the planning process, you can end up with something that's perfectly suited to your personal preferences. All it takes is a little effort and thoughtful research.

    Think about what you enjoy

Start by thinking about what it is that you really enjoy, about what you and your partner really feel comfortable with. This won't necessarily be something that you've already experienced - it could be a combination of things that make you happy, things that really make you feel at home. That might be a theme that reflects something you're both passionate about, or a location that you've both spent quality time in together. Consider incorporating elements of what brings you joy into your wedding theme. If you both have a shared love for unconventional fashion, such as gothic clothing, infusing this into your wedding attire and decor could create a unique and memorable experience that truly reflects your personality.

    Keep your budget in mind

While you want to create the perfect experience, ultimately, you don't want your wedding day to put unnecessary financial pressure on you for years to come. As a result, you'll want to dream within your budget, to make sure you don't come up with some outlandish plan that you could never actually pay for. This may sound annoying, but it's an unfortunate reality of planning any big event.

    Try starting with a venue

It can be quite difficult to imagine what your wedding will look like without any foundations at all. To make things a bit more concrete, it can help to start by looking at venues, whether a rural location such as Heaton House Farm, or a more urban location if you prefer a city vibe.

Knowing at least roughly what your wedding venue will look like can help you to imagine how all the other pieces of the puzzle will fall into place, making the planning process feel a lot more concrete.

    Think about who you're inviting

While you and your partner are obviously at the centre of your wedding day, you also need to be conscious of who will be in attendance. Think about your friends and family members who will be invited, and what kinds of things they might enjoy. Everyone needs to have a good time - while you obviously can't control this 100%, you can ensure that you plan something that's relatively inclusive. The presence of a skilled mind reader and mentalist will create an atmosphere of mystique and excitement, providing unforgettable moments that will be cherished by all who attend.

Ultimately, there's no right or wrong way to plan a wedding. While our vision of what's acceptable is tempered by what we experience in popular culture, it's important to remember that at the end of the day, you can do whatever you like.

As long as you're realistic with your budget, and remember to keep in mind the general preferences of the people who will be attending the event, we're sure that you'll be able to choose a wedding that's absolutely perfect for you and your beloved.
