Monster Jam Cardiff 2016

We're really excited to be putting the school holidays to an end with a bang on Saturday as we are going to review Monster Jam in Cardiff's Principality Stadium.

Ever since Bean saw an advert for the show a few months ago she has been asking to see it. It is billed as an action-packed event, where drivers compete in different competitions in front of the crowds - it sounds really exciting!

The show will feature 12 of the world's most famous Monster Jam trucks, including Monster Jam World Finals® champions Grave Digger® and Max DTM, providing an unforgettable experience for the entire family.

Here are a few interesting facts about Monster Trucks...

Standing 4 metres tall and 4 metres wide, the custom designed Monster Jam trucks weigh up to 4,500kg and are powered by super-charged engines delivering more than 1,500 horsepower
With tyres 1.7metre tall, a Monster Jam truck is capable of reaching speeds of up to 110kms per hour
Monster Jam trucks can jump as far as 130 feet in length

Before the event you can also get tickets to the 'Party in the Pit' where you can meet the drivers, and their trucks. You can get your favourite driver's autograph, take photos and see the trucks up close before they compete.

It sounds like an amazing experience, we can't wait to see it.
