There are so many little moments in time that are really special to me. Pinpoints in time that literally changed my life. Of course the time and date of each of my children's births but before all that, the real life changing event was meeting my husband.
We met in the summer of 2005 when I had just graduated from university. I went to work in a law firm in Cardiff and he was my boss. It wasn't love at first sight, in fact we were both dating other people but after a few weeks we both knew we felt something for each other.
We split up with our respective partners and moved in together by the end of the summer. We just knew that it was right between us. A couple of years later we were married with a child and now have two more! I couldn't imagine my life without him and every year we love to mark our anniversary by giving each other a little gift, nothing expensive but we definitely like to mark the occasion.
This year I have got him this amazing star map print. It shows the constellation in the sky above Cardiff on the date that we first met.
The map print was gifted from a company called Modern Map Art and you can personalise it how you want, different sizes, in different colours, different lettering and wording and of course with different constellations according to your time and date of choice.
They come in a hard cardboard tube and I can't wait to frame ours, I've just taped it up with some washi so I could show you all in pictures but I'm going to buy a nice black frame and it will make such a lovely gift.
